Rocker Feet Kit for Thinkrider XX Pro / X2 Smart Trainers
A rocker plate gives an indoor trainer the sway of a real bike — and costs more than most trainers. This kit gets you the same motion for a fraction of that: precision 3D-printed feet that replace your trainer's rigid feet, each cradling a standard tennis ball. The balls give the spring; your trainer rocks naturally in every direction.
Why riders fit these
- Natural sway — multi-directional movement instead of a rigid platform, like riding out of the saddle on the road.
- Protects your frame — the flex goes into the balls, not your carbon.
- Softer seated pedalling — takes the dead, harsh feel out of hard efforts.
- Tested hard — printed solid and ridden daily; these are the parts we train on ourselves.
Tennis balls: bring your own, or add ours
The feet take standard tennis balls — the ones from your local sports shop work perfectly. Choose Without tennis balls and save on shipping (balls are bulky to post worldwide), or With tennis balls and we include a full set ready to ride.
What you get
Kit: printed feet with mounting screws where your version needs them (X2 / X2 Max clip on without screws). Standard versions use 4 feet + 8 balls; the V-shape Gen 2 rocks on 2 feet + 4 balls — that's why it costs less.
⚠️ Required: use a non-slip trainer mat. Without one the tennis balls can slide on smooth floors during hard out-of-saddle efforts.
