Parts made by someone who rides
XEcycle started the way most of our products still do — with something that didn't exist.
A camera mount that fit the helmet properly. Not a strap that slid around, not a sticky pad that pulled the shell's finish off, not a generic clamp designed for a GoPro on a motorcycle helmet. Something shaped for the exact vents on the exact lid, that held a lightweight action camera steady and came off cleanly when the ride was over.
So it got designed, printed, ridden, cracked, redesigned, and ridden again. Then someone at a group ride asked where to get one.
That's still the whole process.
What we make
We design and 3D-print accessories for road cyclists: helmet camera mounts, seatpost light mounts, trainer parts, and the small fitting tools that make setting up a bike less of a guess.
Everything is printed in TPU — a flexible engineering plastic that absorbs impact instead of shattering. It's more difficult to print well than the rigid plastics most 3D-printed parts use, and it's the right material for something attached to a helmet.
We make parts for specific models rather than universal fits. A universal mount fits everything badly. Naming the exact helmet on the box means the part actually works — and it means our catalogue grows one model at a time, in the order riders ask for them.
How we work
Small batches, checked by hand. Every part is inspected and test-fitted on the real component before it's packed. It's slower than it could be. It's also why we can honestly say a part fits.
We answer our own email. No ticket queue, no chatbot. If you're unsure whether something fits your helmet, send a photo and you'll get a real answer, usually within a day.
We'd rather lose the sale than sell you the wrong part. If your model isn't one we've tested, we'll tell you so instead of guessing.
Requests become products. Much of the range exists because someone emailed to ask. If there's a part you keep wishing existed, tell us — support@xecycle.shop.
Being straight about what these are
Our mounts are aftermarket parts. They aren't made, tested or approved by the companies that make your helmet or your camera, and no accessory attached to a helmet can be certified safe in a crash.
What we can promise: it will fit the model on the label, it won't require you to modify or damage your helmet, and if it fails we'll make it right. What we ask: check it before every ride, and replace it after any crash.
