Terms of service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of xecycle.shop and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't order.

In these terms, "XEcycle", "we" and "us" mean the business operating xecycle.shop; "you" means the customer.

1. Who we are

2. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send your shipping confirmation, not when you receive the order confirmation email.

We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — if the item is out of stock, if the price or description was clearly wrong, if we can't ship to your address, or if we suspect fraud.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in the currency shown at checkout and exclude import duties and taxes (see our Shipping Policy).

We may change prices at any time, but never after you've placed an order. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

4. Shipping, returns and refunds

Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy and returns by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

5. Product descriptions and fitment

We describe our products as accurately as we can, and every listing states which helmet, camera, seatpost or trainer it fits.

Fitment is your responsibility to check. Manufacturers revise their models without notice, and a part that fits a 2024 helmet may not fit the 2026 version of the same model. If your exact model isn't named on the product page, email us before ordering — we'd rather answer a question than process a return.

Screen colours vary. Because our parts are 3D-printed, minor variation in finish, colour and layer texture between batches is normal and is not a defect.

6. Safe use of camera mounts and cycling accessories

Please read this section. It matters more than the rest of the document.

Our accessories are aftermarket parts. They are not made, endorsed, tested or approved by the manufacturers of the helmets, cameras, bicycles or components they attach to. Brand names are used only to describe compatibility.

By buying and using our products, you accept the following:

  • Cycling carries inherent risk, and so does attaching anything to a helmet. A helmet-mounted camera can change how a helmet behaves in a crash. No aftermarket mount can be certified as safe in an impact, and ours are not.
  • Never modify your helmet. Do not drill, cut, grind, glue or heat any part of a helmet to fit an accessory. Doing so destroys its protective structure. Our mounts are designed to attach without modification — if one doesn't, stop and contact us.
  • Fitting an accessory may void your helmet's or component's warranty and safety certification. Check with that manufacturer if this matters to you.
  • Inspect before every ride. Check that the mount is secure, uncracked and correctly seated. 3D-printed plastics fatigue and degrade with UV, heat, cold and repeated stress. Replace any part that shows cracks, whitening, deformation or play.
  • Replace after any crash or impact, even if the part looks intact.
  • Don't exceed the intended load. Our mounts are designed for the specific lightweight action cameras named in the listing. Do not fit heavier cameras, lights, batteries or other equipment to them.
  • Obey the law. Some countries and race organisers restrict or prohibit helmet-mounted cameras. Compliance is your responsibility, not ours.
  • These are not safety devices. No product we sell is protective equipment, and none should be relied upon as such.

If you are not confident fitting or inspecting a part correctly, have a qualified bike mechanic do it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from a product or from these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including damage to a helmet, camera, bicycle or other property, lost footage, lost time, or missed events — arising from the use or failure of a product.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected, and where your local consumer law gives you more protection than this clause, that law applies.

8. Intellectual property

All designs, 3D models, product photography, video, text and branding on this site belong to XEcycle.

You're buying a physical part, not the design behind it. You may not copy, 3D-scan, reverse-engineer, reproduce or resell our designs, or distribute files derived from them, without our written permission.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use this site to break the law, place fraudulent orders, scrape or overload the site, or interfere with its operation or security. We may refuse service to anyone who does.

10. Reviews and submissions

If you send us photos, reviews or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use them in our marketing and on our site, with attribution where practical. Don't send us anything you don't have the rights to. We may remove any submission at our discretion.

11. Privacy

Your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Third-party links

Our site and blog may link to other sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or their policies.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

14. Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Foshan, Guangdong.

If you're a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your own country, or of your right to bring proceedings there.

Before starting any formal dispute, please email us at support@xecycle.shop. Almost everything gets resolved that way, faster and at no cost to you.
