The Oakley Meta Vanguard ships with no prescription option. No official RX insert, no lens program — if you don't have perfect vision, the smartest sports glasses on the market don't work for you out of the box.

This insert fixes that. A precision 3D-printed frame that clips onto the bridge behind the Vanguard's shield lens, holding a pair of prescription lenses right where your eyes need them — without touching the cameras, speakers or display.

Two ways to order

  • Frame only — $99. You get the insert frame; take it to any optician and have your lenses cut and fitted locally, like a normal frame.
  • Frame + prescription lenses — $149. We fit lenses to your prescription before shipping. After checkout, send us your prescription through our prescription form (or reply to your order confirmation email). We won't ship until your prescription is confirmed.

How it works

  1. Order your option above.
  2. Lens option: fill in the prescription form — sphere, cylinder, axis and PD, exactly as written by your optometrist.
  3. Clip the insert onto the bridge behind the shield. It comes out in seconds for cleaning, and doesn't touch the cameras, microphones, speakers or charging contacts.

Details

  • Fits: Oakley Meta Vanguard (all versions)
  • Quick-release: no tools, in or out in seconds
  • Light: adds only a few grams behind the shield

Please note: prescription lenses are made to your order and can't be resold — the 30-day return policy applies in full to unglazed frames, but lens orders can only be remade (not refunded) if the prescription we fitted doesn't match the form you sent. Very strong prescriptions may not suit an insert this compact — if in doubt, ask your optometrist or email us first.
